In evaluation, they voiced, Korea-US FTA has been heading on the right tract, but for further grown and smoother transition, it is necessary for both parties to address the issues and reach an amicable agreement.

2nd Sessions’ moderator J.J. Kim, Principle attorney of J.J. Kim and Associate, pointed out “Although merchandise trade between South Korean and the US has left US with $20 billion deficit, the US was able to gain significant surplus in service and investment sector. Therefore, to claim merchandise trade has only caused harm to the U.S. is sorely one-sided and not right.”
