[Jose Ilbo] 3 Years since the KORUS FTA- Issues and Tasks: 12.5.2014
The Korea Customs Forum and the Korea Research Society for Customs co-hosted a 2014 Winter Conference under the theme of "3 Years since the Korean-American FTA - Issues and Tasks", on the 5th at Seoul Customs Center.
Kim Nak-Hoe, the Commissioner of the Korea Customs Service, opened the conference with Words of Encouragement, and the meeting continued with discussions on the main topic of "The Current U.S. Customs Inspection Process and Measures in relation to Korea-US FTA", and presentations on 17 research studies by the Customs Committee, Legislation & Systems Committee, and the Trade Committee.
During the main session, attorney J.J. Kim at J.J.Kim & Associates who is currently practicing Customs Law, shared on the most frequent issues in relation to the certificate of origin arising in customs clearance process for South Korea's exports and the preventive measures.
